Warranty conditions.
At Rambler we stand behind the quality of our products. Should something nevertheless be wrong with your Rambler or one of its parts, we are happy to help you reach a suitable solution.
Below you can read which warranty we offer and how you can submit a warranty claim.
Statutory warranty
For consumers, the statutory warranty always applies. This means that a product must comply with what you may reasonably expect of it on the basis of the agreement and under normal use.
The statutory warranty rights are separate from, and are not limited by, the additional warranty Rambler offers below.
Additional Rambler warranty
In addition to the statutory warranty, Rambler offers the following additional warranty from the original date of purchase:
2 years warranty on the frame
1 year warranty on other parts, insofar as these are not subject to normal wear.
This additional warranty relates to material and construction defects that arise or come to light under normal and prescribed use.
Parts subject to wear through normal use do not fall under this additional warranty. Depending on use, this may include, for example, tires, inner tubes, brake parts, bearings, fabric parts and other wear-prone components.
Conditions for the additional warranty
To be able to claim our additional warranty, we ask you to be able to present a proof of purchase.
In the event of a possible warranty case, always contact us first before returning a product or part. In many cases we can already assess, based on a clear description and a few photos, what is going on and which solution is most suitable.
The additional Rambler warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
When does a defect not fall under the additional warranty?
The additional warranty does not apply when the defect or damage is demonstrably the result of:
- incorrect assembly or installation;
- changes or modifications to the product or its parts that have not been approved by Rambler;
- an accident, collision or other external damage;
- incorrect, careless or improper use;
- overloading or use contrary to the product specifications;
- insufficient or incorrect maintenance;
- failure to follow the use and maintenance instructions in the manual;
- normal wear as a result of using the product;
- damage due to external circumstances that cannot be attributed to the product.
The normal professional use of a Rambler by childcare organizations, schools and comparable institutions does not in itself fall outside the additional warranty.
Use for rental or other intensive commercial applications may fall outside the additional warranty when a defect is demonstrably related to such use.
Submitting a warranty claim
Do you think there is a warranty case? Then contact us at:
contact@rambler.company
Preferably state:
- your name and order or invoice number;
- which Rambler model or part it concerns;
- a brief description of the problem;
- some clear photos or, if relevant, a video showing the problem.
This way we can assess your report as quickly and carefully as possible.
Do not return a product or part before you have contacted us about it. It is by no means always necessary to return the complete Rambler; in many cases we can solve the problem by repairing or replacing a part.
Solution for a valid warranty claim
When a warranty claim is justified, we determine together with you which solution is most suitable. Depending on the problem, this may for example consist of:
- repair of the relevant part;
- replacement of a part;
- replacement of the product;
- or another suitable solution.
When it is necessary to return a product or part in order to handle a valid warranty claim, the necessary shipping costs are for Rambler's account.
When the defect does not fall under the warranty
When assessment shows that the problem does not fall under the statutory or additional warranty, we will inform you about this.
Where possible, we can then make a proposal for repair, replacement or supply of a new part against payment. Any costs will be discussed with you in advance.
When a product has been sent to Rambler for inspection and subsequently has to be returned, we make arrangements in advance about any shipping, inspection or repair costs.
